First look: Peacock art and stats
almost 2 years ago – Mon, Jul 25, 2022 at 10:00:37 PM

Hi folks!

Here's the peacock card Sean worked on. I love the "look at me!" trait. That has got to come up at some point as a reason to shift into this gorgeous bird.

I did feel my usual method of working on the cards might not go as planned so I opted for my moleskin sketchbook. I wanted to make sure I got to enjoy all those gorgeous feather details.

Goodberry Tokens

Someone asked if they will be able to get more. I've created a new add-on and it will also be available in the survey.

10k stretch goal! Goodberry tokens unlocked!
almost 2 years ago – Mon, Jul 25, 2022 at 06:09:35 AM

Hi folks,

Thanks to you, my amazing backers, we've unlocked the Goodberry Tokens. The spell created 10 so now you can pass the tokens out as needed. They've been fun at our table. I hope they bring joy to yours.

New Team Member

I also wanted to share one more member of the team. Ivo Hoying has helped with proofreading, editing, and play testing.  He'll be a more prominent player in the planned expansions: Expansion 1 - More Core and Expansion 2 - Electric Homebrew.

First Look: Giant Swan
almost 2 years ago – Wed, Jul 20, 2022 at 01:13:30 PM

Here are the stats Sean Holland worked up for the Giant Swan. I wanted to show off those intimidating wings.

I can already imagine laughs around the table as your druid is making intimidation checks as the giant swan.

We're not too far off from unlocking the Goodberry Tokens! if you can share the project it would totally help unlock that goal.

I also wanted to share my interview on Nerdarchy. I love these guys!

Quest Chests' Treasure Hoard!
almost 2 years ago – Tue, Jul 19, 2022 at 12:19:48 PM

I wanted to share this little zine being Kickstarted that I'm backing. 100 never-before-seen magic items for 5e. What I love are the illustrations that accompany each item. As a realist painter of fantasy games, I can really appreciate drawing styles that seem 180 degrees from my own. And these hit that sweet spot.

The zine will come in either PDF or printed format. With a ton of extras in the PDF version. I love that each item will be able to be presented to players in its own little notecard-styled booklet. You can even download one for free!

free sample!

And he even just posted a very topical staff for druids. Check this out.

I do hope something like this would be a cool addition to a campaign if you're a DM. Or maybe a gift to your favorite DM.

First Look - Chameleon
almost 2 years ago – Tue, Jul 19, 2022 at 01:14:26 AM

Another great one from Sean Holland. The chameleon would indeed make a great scouting beast.

I opted to draw a veiled chameleon because it's pretty cool. I love the casques they grow on their heads.

I hope you find a way to weave this little guy into a session or two.
