Shipping info update

This is especially important to backers living in the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. 

Netherlands

First, for those living in the Netherlands the country code was missing from the shipping region it was associated with. It's been added. Anyone that overpaid the shipping should either show a positive balance or I'll refund the difference. It should not say $50 for shipping within the NL region. The base rate is $18

Australia, and New Zealand

For those living in the above, I've taken a look at local rates and it does appear it will be less expensive to ship right from Chicago. I've updated the shipping zone for your region. Again, anyone that overpaid the shipping should either show a positive balance or I'll refund the difference. The base rate is $20.

I hope this update works out for those who've shown concern. I'm all about making things as fair for shipping as I can. If you're in the EU the shipping rates really will be the best as your packages will be shipped from the US to the NL and shipped from there. Those outside the EU that have any questions, just let me know and I'll see what I can do. 

Survey Smoke Test

The funds are incoming so it's time to start the surveys. But, I want to ensure it all goes smoothly and Backerkit suggests a Smoke Test. So, I'll start there. If those folks don't seem to have any problems I'll send the rest out. Between myself and Backerkit, we have tried to make this an easy experience free of flaws but something might be off and you can always reach out to me to get it fixed.


What is a Smoke Test?

  • A smoke test sends surveys to 5% of backers from each pledge level in the campaign.
  • It’s a simple way to catch any errors in the survey and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Once the smoke test has been completed, I'll send surveys to the rest of the backers.

Hi all!

Home from an amazing GenCon and waiting to get to the next steps where I can send out surveys. I'm hoping that's next week. Once the funds are transferred I'll send out a "smoke test" of surveys to about 5% of you folks. That will ensure any minor mistakes (if any) are caught.

I did want to share a small update I'll be making to the cards. Some basic improvements. On the front of the cards, I'll add the CR number. While playing it was something I felt I kept looking for. So, I added it. And while working on proofs of the expansion I had printed I quickly realized how helpful it would be to have the sets labeled on the cards. In this case, "Core Collection" will be on the stat side of the cards.

Hey all!

As we're closing in on the last few days here I wanted to share one last project I think is pretty cool. My good friend Tyler Walpole launched his campaign recently to make playmats of all his Secret Lair D&D Magic cards. These are not your ordinary playmats either. Tyler teamed up with Pinfinity to offer his playmats with augmented reality. Your cell phone unlocks your playmat's secret powers.

He's unlocked all his stretch goals so there's a ton to choose from.
